LACHENALIA CONTAMINATA
A lovely lachenalia from South Africa. Commonly called the 'Wild Hyacinth', they are actually no relation to the Hyacinth family at all. A dainty white bloom with red or brown markings. Note, this bulb likes a frost free climate, it can be grown in pots to protect from frosty nights.
Lachenalia are hardy bulbs from South Africa, loving a hot and dry location. They are ideally grown in a pots, woodland gardens or rock gardens, these dainty bulbs are truly a treasure to behold. Lachenalia bulbs are hard to obtain and available in limited numbers each season.
