Winter Iris (I. Historides) GEORGE
A late blooming winter iris. Growing to a height of 15cm, this stunning little bulb produces deep burgundy blooms with a lovely flash of yellow on broad petals.
Iris Reticulata and historides are hardy, winter blooming bulbs, that love a hot summer bake. They form small clumps over time, flowering freely, even in warm climates such as Sydney. Winter Iris thrive in pots, and can benefit from completely drying out over the summer months. Please note, this class of iris makes a naturally smaller bulb.
